Per The City of Spokane, until further notice, the following forms are necessary for only REO properties and do not need to be submitted with registrations of properties with defaulted mortgages.

  • Authorization To Enter Propertyrequired once a property becomes an REO.
  • Authorization to Enter Property And Abatement of Nuisance Condition – This form is voluntary and necessary only if the REO owner desires for the City of Spokane to abate/correct any nuisance condition(s) existing on the property.

Non-profit organizations, with 501(c)(3)​ exemption, must register, but are exempt from the fee.

City Message: Registrations previously submitted to the City of Spokane, Washington are no longer valid as of October 20, 2016, as electronic registration is now required. The registration fee grace period previously allowed by Spokane has now expired. Registration fees for 2014 and 2015 will not be collected because the City of Spokane exercised a grace period during that time. Responsible parties must re-register qualifying properties  through the Community Champions portal and the $350 registration fee is now due.
